Occupational Therapist

An Occupational Therapist opportunity is available with StaffMed Health Partners at a hospital-based rehabilitation setting in Bay City, TX. ### What you'll do - Perform occupational therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments in accordance with hospital and department policies - Accurately assess patient needs and initiate appropriate OT interventions across the care continuum - Provide patient and family education to support functional recovery and discharge planning - Supervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, Therapy Aides/Technicians, and students as needed - Maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, re-evaluations, screens, and discharge summaries in compliance with HIPAA - Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to advance patient outcomes ### What we're looking for - Current Texas Occupational Therapist license - Registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) - Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program - Current CPR certification - Ability to apply evidence-based practice in developing plans of care - New graduates are welcome; 1 year of experience preferred ### What's included - Compensation details available upon inquiry with the recruiting team - Hospital-based role with exposure to a full rehabilitation services department ### About the practice StaffMed Health Partners places therapy professionals in quality healthcare settings across Texas and beyond.
