About the Community

Tucson is a UNESCO-designated City of Gastronomy set against the dramatic backdrop of the Sonoran Desert — home to Saguaro National Park's 1.6 million iconic cacti, the pine forests of Mount Lemmon accessible via the Sky Island Highway in under 45 minutes, and the trail systems of Sabino Canyon's Bear Canyon. Median home prices hover around $340K, roughly 30% below Phoenix, with the Catalina Foothills neighborhood offering mountain-view properties and access to a top-rated school district. A James Beard-recognized dining scene, year-round outdoor recreation, and 350 days of sunshine annually make Tucson a compelling destination for physicians who want a high quality of life without a major-metro price tag.
