About this role

A CRNA is needed to join the Anesthesia Care Team at a community acute-care hospital in Waukegan, IL, placed by StaffMed Health Partners. ### What you'll do - Deliver anesthesia services within an Anesthesia Care Team model across 7 operating rooms (1–3 rooms running daily) - Manage cases spanning General Surgery, Orthopedics, GI, Urology, Podiatry, Gynecology, and Cath Lab - Begin typical day around 7:00–7:30 AM with case volume varying by specialty - Collaborate with a team of 6 CRNAs and 1 PRN anesthesiologist - Maintain patient-centered care and strong communication throughout perioperative phases ### What we're looking for - Active CRNA certification with Illinois license or eligibility to obtain - Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred - Prior clinical experience preferred; strong new graduates encouraged to apply - Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week (8 shifts/month for bonus eligibility) - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach ### What's included - $180/hour for up to 32 hours per week; $210/hour for 32+ hours per week (1099 compensation) - Up to $50,000 sign-on bonus, paid quarterly over 2 years with minimum 8 shifts per month - Flexible scheduling with part-time or full-time options available - No OB cases required - Call is optional and in-house only if accepted ### About the practice This community acute-care hospital in the Chicago metropolitan area operates a stable, established anesthesia program with a collaborative team structure.
