A large, established multi-specialty group practice north of Austin, Texas is recruiting a full-time Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join its inpatient GI service at a 175-bed acute care medical center in Round Rock, TX. This is a pure inpatient role — no outpatient clinic obligations — with a structured 7-on/7-off schedule, APP support, and a clear path to associateship and partnership within one of Central Texas's most respected physician organizations. ERCP capability is central to the scope, making this an ideal fit for a procedurally confident gastroenterologist who wants predictable scheduling and a high-acuity hospital environment.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Gastroenterology (ABIM)
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Active Texas medical license preferred; eligibility to obtain required
  • Demonstrated ERCP proficiency — this is a core procedural requirement of the role
  • Comfort managing the full spectrum of inpatient general GI and acute GI emergencies, including ED consultations
