OB/GYN Hospitalist

A Board Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist is needed at a 536-bed acute care facility — named a Best Maternity Hospital in 2025 — operated through StaffMed Health Partners in Tampa, FL. ### What you'll do - Cover 5–8 twenty-four-hour in-house shifts per month within a double physician coverage model - Manage labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, and inpatient gynecologic cases - Perform emergent gynecologic surgery as required - Collaborate with a team-based hospitalist group on all aspects of inpatient OB care - Participate in teaching and training alongside OB/GYN residents - Maintain scheduling flexibility with no restrictions on working at outside facilities ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with Board Certification through ABOG or AOBOG - Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical experience - Active delivery skills and current competency in emergent gynecologic surgery - Florida medical license in hand or ability to obtain prior to start ### What's included - Competitive compensation package (specific range not disclosed) - Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage - Florida NICA annual fee covered by employer - Paid professional liability insurance with full tail coverage - Access to wellness programs and professional development resources - No billing or coding responsibilities ### About the practice This 536-bed acute care hospital in Tampa earned national recognition as a Best Maternity Hospital in 2025, reflecting a strong institutional commitment to obstetric excellence.
