Cardiac Imaging - Tampa, FL

A Cardiac Imaging Cardiologist is needed to join a dedicated Heart Institute at a 288-bed hospital in Tampa, FL, placed by StaffMed Health Partners. ### What you'll do - Serve as Medical Director of Cardiac Imaging for the facility with potential to expand that role across a 16-hospital network - Interpret and oversee Cardiac MRI and 128-slice Cardiac CT studies - Collaborate with a cardiology group of 4 General Cardiologists, 1 Interventional Cardiologist, and 3 Electrophysiologists - Provide imaging coverage support across the broader hospital network as needed - Engage with Cardiology Fellows in a teaching capacity ### What we're looking for - Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease - Advanced training and expertise in cardiac imaging (Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CT) - Ability to assume a Medical Director leadership role - Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain ### What's included - Competitive base salary plus RVU-based incentive - CME time off and CME allowance - Comprehensive benefits package - Medical Director title with leadership growth potential - Favorable call schedule supporting quality of life ### About the practice The facility is a 288-bed dedicated Heart Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center that was among the first hospitals in the region to achieve Atrial Fibrillation Certification and was the first nationally recognized Comprehensive Stroke Center in its county. The cardiology program is actively expanding, with additional cardiologists currently being recruited across multiple subspecialties.
