Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians are needed to join multiple high-volume pediatric emergency departments across the Houston metro area through StaffMed Health Partners. ### What you'll do - Evaluate and manage high-acuity pediatric emergency cases across multiple Houston-area ED locations - Collaborate with a strong consultant network spanning General Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Medical Toxicology - Work within academic-affiliated departments that support residency and APP training programs - Utilize Meditech EMR for clinical documentation and care coordination - Operate in departments with Level II and Level III NICU backup support ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine - Fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine - Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Comfort managing high-volume, high-acuity pediatric patient populations - Interest in academic involvement and faculty appointment opportunities ### What's included - Competitive compensation package - Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and disability coverage - 401(k) with company matching - Malpractice coverage provided - CME allowance of $3,000 annually - Sign-on bonus of $40,000 (2-year agreement) or $60,000 (3-year agreement) - Faculty appointment opportunities available ### About the practice StaffMed Health Partners is placing physicians across multiple nationally recognized pediatric emergency facilities in the Houston metro area, each known for high standards of care, patient safety, and medical innovation.
