About this role
A full-time Emergency Medicine Physician is needed at a Level III Trauma Center in Belton, MO, partnered through StaffMed Health Partners in the Kansas City metro area.
### What you'll do
- Provide attending-level emergency care across 10- and 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage as scheduled
- Manage a department seeing approximately 31,000 patient visits annually
- Work within a 17-bed ED supported by 7 fast-track chairs and 24/7 APP coverage
- Collaborate with inpatient and specialist teams at a 70+ bed acute care hospital
- Participate in trauma activations at a designated Level III Trauma Center
### What we're looking for
- Board certification by ABEM or AOBEM required; FP or IM board-certified physicians with 2+ years of EM experience will be considered
- Active Missouri medical licensure required
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, undifferentiated emergency presentations
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with APP staff and inpatient teams
