A trauma neurosurgeon is needed at the region's only ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center, employed through StaffMed Health Partners in Ocala, Florida. ### What you'll do - Manage neuro-trauma alerts and acute trauma consults in a hospital-based, inpatient-only setting - Provide trauma neurosurgery coverage shared with one other dedicated trauma neurosurgeon - Conduct follow-up clinic for trauma patients post-discharge - Participate in peer review, quality rounds, and trauma program improvement initiatives - Collaborate within a fully dedicated trauma service line supported by strong APP coverage ### What we're looking for - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery - Spine fellowship training preferred - Prior trauma neurosurgery experience preferred - Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, mission-driven clinical environment ### What's included - Competitive compensation through a large physician services organization - Comprehensive and flexible benefits package - CME time and allowance - Occurrence-based malpractice coverage - Strong administrative and clinical support infrastructure ### About the practice This role is embedded within the only ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center serving a five-county region of more than one million residents in north-central Florida.
