About this role
A full-time employed Gastroenterologist is needed at a multi-specialty group affiliated with a 267-bed Level II Trauma Center in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, placed through StaffMed Health Partners.
### What you'll do
- Manage a primarily outpatient GI caseload with capacity to cover inpatient consults as needed
- Participate in a 1:3 hospital call rotation
- Perform endoscopic procedures in a two-room, hospital-based GI lab staffed 24/7
- Utilize newly purchased ERCP equipment; ERCP and/or EUS experience is an asset
- Collaborate within an established multi-specialty group spanning 20+ specialties
- Engage in teaching opportunities through a facility actively pursuing Level I Trauma designation
### What we're looking for
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain
- ERCP and/or EUS skills preferred but not required
- Comfort with both outpatient practice and inpatient consult responsibilities
- Collegial team-oriented approach suitable for a multi-specialty group environment
