About the Community

Albuquerque sits at 5,300 feet in the high desert of central New Mexico, offering 310 days of sunshine per year, world-class outdoor recreation including skiing at Sandia Peak, hiking in the Sandia Mountains, and access to the Rio Grande bosque trail system. The metro area combines a low cost of living relative to other western cities with a vibrant arts scene, renowned cuisine, and proximity to Santa Fe — making it a compelling destination for clinicians who want an active, culturally rich lifestyle without the price tag of coastal markets.
