About this role
A large anesthesia group in the suburbs of Albuquerque, NM is adding CRNAs to their collaborative team through StaffMed Health Partners.
### What you'll do
- Perform full-scope, independent anesthesia practice across a broad variety of surgical cases
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and manage PACU care independently
- Place peripheral nerve blocks and invasive lines
- Collaborate with a team of 2 anesthesiologists and 9 CRNAs in a supportive call-sharing model
- Participate in a light call rotation: approximately 1 weekday-call week and 1 weekend every 8–9 weeks
### What we're looking for
- Active CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
- New Mexico CRNA licensure or eligibility
- Comfort with independent, full-scope anesthesia practice
- Experience with or willingness to develop regional block and line skills (physician mentorship available)
### What's included
- Total compensation approximately $300,000/year with potential to earn more
- $40,000 sign-on bonus
- 7 weeks of PTO annually
- Independent contractor (1099) status
- Post-call day guaranteed off after weekday call; Monday guaranteed off after weekend call
- Only 1 required holiday per year

The case mix offers strong variety — general, orthopedic, and regional — without OB, cardiac, or neurosurgical cases. CRNAs function with full clinical autonomy while anesthesiologists remain available for mentorship and support.
