About this role

AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join its clinical nutrition team in Zephyrhills, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct nutrition-focused physical assessments, including anthropometric measurements, medical record review, and patient interviews. - Evaluate assessment data to identify nutrition risks, malnutrition criteria, knowledge deficits, and high-risk health behaviors. - Develop and deliver nutrition interventions, orders, patient education, counseling, and referrals to other services. - Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling with attention to health literacy and cultural sensitivity for patients with disease-related nutritional needs. - Place feeding tubes and perform indirect calorimetry studies as needed. - Serve as the unit-level nutrition expert and resource for clinical staff. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential — required. - Bachelor's degree — required. - Comprehensive knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and nutrient analysis. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications. - Ability to locate and apply current nutrition research to practice and educational materials. - Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension). ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $23.71–$44.09 (approximately $49,315–$91,707 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance — effective day one. - Paid time off — effective day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being and mental health resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Zephyrhills is a faith-based, mission-driven hospital serving the greater Zephyrhills, Florida community as part of the AdventHealth system.
