About this role

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department in Daytona Beach, Florida, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, and sociocultural factors for ED patients. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans in alignment with standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Respond promptly to code situations, providing interventions to stabilize patients. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively across teams. - Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - BLS/CPR certification (required). - 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - EKG competency per unit requirements. - Preferred certifications include TNCC, CCNS, PEARS, ABLS, or SCRN. ### What's included - $10,000 sign-on bonus. - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based nonprofit health network operating across multiple states.
