About this role
A PRN Medical Technologist role at AdventHealth Parker (Portercare Adventist Health System) in Parker, Colorado, supporting laboratory operations on a day-shift, as-needed basis.
### What you'll do
- Generate and report accurate laboratory results to support diagnoses and prognoses that directly influence patient care.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to correlate and interpret laboratory data.
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints regarding laboratory results and test requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with laboratory, hospital, and regulatory policies.
### What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science, medical technology, or equivalent coursework (24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology or qualifying science courses).
- Completion of a ABHES- or CAAHEP-accredited clinical laboratory training program, or at least three months of documented laboratory training in each specialty tested.
- Alternatively, successful completion of a 50-week U.S. military medical laboratory procedures training course with current or prior Medical Laboratory Specialist MOS.
- One or more years of related laboratory work experience (preferred).
- Ability to meet any additional licensure or certification requirements specific to the unit or state.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range of $29.57–$55.01 (annualized equivalent approximately $61,500–$114,400 at full-time hours).
- PRN scheduling flexibility on day shift.
