About this role

AdventHealth Fruitland Park ER is hiring a full-time Emergency Room RN for its freestanding emergency department in Fruitland Park, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors. - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions. - Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain effective communication across the team. - Respond promptly to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, treatments, and self-care strategies. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred). - EKG interpretation skills per department requirements. - Preferred certifications include TNCC, PEARS, CCNS, or equivalent emergency/critical care credentials. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and continuing education support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Fruitland Park ER is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with facilities across multiple states.
