Emergency Room Paramedic | Nights

AdventHealth Fruitland Park ER is hiring a full-time Night Shift Emergency Room Paramedic at its freestanding emergency facility in Fruitland Park, Florida. ### What you'll do - Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, perform patient assessments, and initiate treatment per medical protocols - Assist higher-trained clinical personnel in delivering direct patient care within the ER setting - Operate the ambulance safely, obeying all traffic laws and emergency vehicle regulations - Maintain the ambulance in clean, fully stocked, and mission-ready condition at all times - Complete patient care reports, daily checklists, and required clinical documentation accurately - Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and established departmental policies ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Licensed Paramedic (PARA) — required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications — required - Valid driver's license — required - High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate degree preferred - 1+ year of related paramedic or EMS experience preferred - NIMS/FEMA training and emergency vehicle operations experience preferred ### What's included - Compensation: $20.38–$32.60/hr ($42,390–$67,808 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Fruitland Park ER is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
