About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its Cardiology clinic in Rome, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Perform patient intake, obtain and document vital signs, and prepare patients in the examining room. - Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and minor office procedures. - Conduct phlebotomy and point-of-care laboratory testing in compliance with state and federal regulations. - Administer medications and immunizations as directed; manage prescription refill calls and documentation. - Obtain insurance prior authorizations for medications and communicate updates to providers and patients. - Perform triage duties per practice protocols and maintain exam room equipment cleanliness and sterilization logs. ### What we're looking for - Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Georgia. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Practical Nursing preferred. - At least 1 year of position-related clinical experience preferred. - Proficiency with clinical equipment including EKG machine, pulse oximeter, glucose monitor, and EMR/computer systems. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $20.04 – $37.27 (approximately $41,683 – $77,522 annually). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off beginning Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development programs and whole-person well-being resources including mental health support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
