Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with critical care training or experience
- Board certification in acute care or critical care preferred (ACNPC-AG, AGACNP, or equivalent for NPs; NCCPA certification for PAs)
- Active Alabama licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Comfort managing the full spectrum of ICU acuity including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex multi-system illness
- Availability and commitment to consistent night shift scheduling
