About this role

AdventHealth Palm Coast is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Med/Surg Telemetry unit at 1 AdventHealth Way, Palm Coast, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments and develop individualized care plans for med/surg telemetry patients. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor for adverse reactions, and respond promptly to code situations. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain effective communication across the team. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. - Supervise and delegate care to healthcare team members while ensuring quality, safety, and infection-control compliance. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience preferred. - EKG interpretation skills as applicable to the telemetry unit. - Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking abilities. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (~$65,582–$108,659 annually). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. - Pet benefits and mental health resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Palm Coast is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit.
