About this role

AdventHealth Gordon is hiring a part-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) for weekend day shifts on the Med-Surg unit in Calhoun, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Provide direct patient care and treatments in alignment with policy, adapting to patient age, mobility, acuity, and cultural needs - Assist the nursing team with obtaining patient histories, identifying patient needs, and reporting clinical abnormalities to the RN - Maintain patient and staff safety through proper isolation protocols, PPE use, hand hygiene, and emergency response - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team - Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive care environment throughout every shift - Support quality improvement by completing accurate documentation and participating in performance improvement activities ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Active BLS/CPR certification (required) - One of the following credentials: CNA, CPCT/A, or EMT (required) - 1+ year of PCT experience (preferred) - Previous bedside care experience in an acute care unit, or experience as a unit secretary or monitor technician (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $15.16–$24.26/hour ($31,533–$50,461 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Gordon is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based not-for-profit health network committed to whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
