About this role

AdventHealth Gordon is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist II for its surgical services team in Calhoun, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields, instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications for each procedure - Assist the surgical team by scrubbing, gowning, gloving, draping, and passing instruments and supplies to surgeons - Maintain sterile technique, perform accurate surgical counts, and respond to intraoperative emergencies - Handle surgical specimens with precision and prepare instruments and equipment for terminal sterilization - Support operating room turnover through room cleaning, setup, and preparation for subsequent cases - Participate in specialty call team coverage as required ### What we're looking for - State CST, NBSTSA CST, or NCCT TS-C certification (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent plus completion of an accredited surgical technology vocational program - Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment setup, and sterilization methods - Ability to anticipate critical emergencies within a specialty call team - 2+ years of experience as a certified surgical technologist (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $22.66–$42.14/hr ($47,132–$87,651 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Gordon is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states. The surgical team operates on a day-shift schedule (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) with call responsibilities.
