About this role

AdventHealth DeLand is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its Cardiac Med/Surg unit on night shift in DeLand, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy within RN scope, adjusting care plans based on patient response. - Assess patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications as they arise. - Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy. - Monitor nursing staff performance, deliver feedback, conduct appraisals, and execute improvement plans. - Mentor and develop unit staff by identifying training needs and organizing educational programs. - Provide patient and family education on venous access and infusion therapy to support compliance and understanding. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required. - BLS and ACLS certification required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience preferred. - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience preferred. - Strong critical thinking, financial/productivity management awareness, and ability to lead performance improvement initiatives. ### What's included - Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hour ($70,699–$131,498 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being programs, and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth DeLand is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, nonprofit health network operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
