Surgical Services Technician

AdventHealth Manchester is hiring a full-time Surgical Services Technician to support inpatient surgical procedures at their facility in Manchester, Kentucky. ### What you'll do - Check supplies and equipment required for each scheduled surgical procedure - Scrub, gown, and glove in preparation for operative cases - Set up and maintain a sterile field including instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions appropriate to each procedure - Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts with the circulating nurse before incision and before closure - Gown and glove the surgeon and surgical assistants at the start of each case - Apply knowledge of patient positioning requirements for varied procedure types ### What we're looking for - Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program - High school diploma or equivalent required - BLS/CPR certification required - Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and sterile field setup - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred - 1+ year of surgical technologist experience preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $19.89–$36.99/hour ($41,371–$76,939 annualized) - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Manchester is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states. The surgical services team operates on a day-shift schedule in a collaborative inpatient OR environment.
