An OBS/PCU Registered Nurse (Days) position is open at AdventHealth Kissimmee, a faith-based health system located in Kissimmee, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and evidence-based standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and understanding.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care through effective communication and teamwork.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- EKG interpretation skills per unit-specific requirements.
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal communication skills.
