About this role
AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist for overnight shifts (Monday–Thursday, 20:00–06:00) at its hospital in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients and selecting technical factors to produce high-quality images to department standards.
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment safely, applying ALARA radiation safety principles for patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems with correct patient demographic and exam information.
- Monitor patient condition, assist with transport, and ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures.
- Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for use; complete routine equipment cleaning and safety checks.
- Cross-train into advanced imaging modalities as needed to support departmental operations.
### What we're looking for
- ARRT registration in Radiography (RT(R)) required.
- BLS/CPR certification (adult, child, and infant) required.
- 1+ year of radiologic technology experience, or new graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Proficiency with radiology software systems including Cerner, RadNet, and PACS.
- Knowledge of diagnostic radiographic procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety across all patient populations (infant through geriatric).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
