About this role

AdventHealth Manchester is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its ICU unit in Manchester, Kentucky. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments to guide individualized patient care. - Develop, implement, and revise care plans based on patient needs and current standards of practice. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize ICU patient care. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Kentucky licensure (or eligibility) implied by location. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required; CCRN-E or CCNS certification preferred. - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred. - EKG interpretation ability per unit requirements. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with proficiency in English and basic computer navigation. ### What's included - Pay range: $30.02–$49.55/hour ($62,442–$103,064 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development programs and whole-person well-being resources including mental health support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Manchester is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
