An RN Clinical Educator at AdventHealth Central Texas supports nursing professional development and evidence-based practice initiatives at the Killeen, Texas campus.
### What you'll do
- Implement nursing professional development initiatives with a focus on caring behaviors, equity, and empathy
- Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical inquiry, guiding staff on research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement projects (e.g., PDSA cycles)
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between education and clinical practice stakeholders
- Disseminate evidence-based findings through education programs, courses, and developmental activities
- Model professional standards aligned with organizational mission, vision, and values
- Support a culture of inquiry by fostering nursing research and scientific inquiry across the organization
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (minimum); 2+ years of relevant clinical experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of ANA/ANPD scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development
- Familiarity with applicable regulatory standards (CMS, OSHA)
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills
