Emergency Department Nurse Manager (RN)

AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time Emergency Department Nurse Manager (RN) to lead nursing operations in its ED located in Zephyrhills, Florida. ### What you'll do - Oversee staff performance, hiring, orientation, scheduling, and disciplinary processes for the ED nursing team. - Manage department budget and resource utilization, applying cost-saving measures and healthcare finance principles. - Lead performance and quality improvement initiatives, implementing evidence-based practice changes and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, and specialty standards. - Mentor and develop nursing staff, supporting ongoing education, clinical competency, and career growth. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and refine policies, procedures, and process improvement plans. - Maintain clear communication with patients, families, staff, and physicians to ensure patient-centered care delivery. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. - Minimum 1 year of critical care or emergency nursing experience. - Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; TNCC preferred. - Demonstrated ability to manage staffing, budgets, and regulatory compliance. - 2+ years of nursing leadership experience preferred. ### What's included - Salary range: $77,759–$144,624 per year. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Zephyrhills is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, mission-driven health network committed to whole-person care in body, mind, and spirit.
