About this role
AdventHealth Castle Rock is hiring full-time and part-time Emergency Department Registered Nurses at its Castle Rock, Colorado hospital, with multiple October start dates available across day and night shifts.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, and sociocultural factors for ED patients.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective team communication.
- Respond promptly to code situations, delivering necessary interventions to stabilize patients.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred).
- EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking abilities in a fast-paced ED environment.
### What's included
- Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hr (~$71,261–$123,219 annually).
- Sign-on bonuses: FT Days $10,000 | PT Days $5,000 | FT Nights $15,000 | PT Nights $7,500.
