About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse for day shifts at its Ginsburg Tower campus in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for ED patients.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and established standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the care continuum.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all required).
- EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements.
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and abstract-reasoning skills with effective verbal and written communication.
