Radiology Technologist PRN

AdventHealth Winter Garden is hiring a PRN Radiology Technologist (RT(R)) for day-shift diagnostic imaging coverage at its facility in Winter Garden, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients and selecting appropriate technical factors to produce high-quality images meeting department standards. - Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment safely, applying ALARA principles of time, distance, and shielding to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EMR and PACS systems, ensuring correct patient demographics and exam information for every study. - Monitor patient condition throughout procedures, assisting with transport and applying proper infection control techniques across all age groups (infant through geriatric). - Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for use; conduct routine equipment safety checks and notify appropriate personnel when inventory is low. - Cross-train into advanced imaging modalities as departmental needs require. ### What we're looking for - Active ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) required. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum 1 year of post-certification radiologic technology experience, or new graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program. - Demonstrated proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures, patient positioning, and technical factor selection. - Ability to use radiology software platforms such as Cerner, RadNet, and PACS. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. ### What's included - Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hour ($44,845–$83,387 annualized). - PRN/per-diem scheduling with day-shift availability. - Opportunity to cross-train into advanced modalities and expand clinical skill set. ### About the practice AdventHealth Winter Garden is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
