About this role
AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a full-time Advanced Respiratory Therapist for its hospital campus in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform airway management including intubation, extubation, suctioning, manual resuscitation, and tracheostomy tube changes.
- Initiate, manage, and liberate patients from invasive, non-invasive, and advanced mechanical ventilation modes including High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation.
- Deliver inhaled medications, bronchial hygiene therapy, lung expansion therapy, and administer inhaled vasodilators and nebulized opioids.
- Conduct hemodynamic procedures including arterial cannulation, pulmonary artery catheter insertion, ABG puncture, and cardiac output profiling.
- Respond to Code Blue emergencies, providing CPR per American Heart Association guidelines.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to set patient goals, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostic and lab data.
### What we're looking for
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the state or NBRC required.
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science required; Bachelor's preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of critical care experience required.
- Proficiency in airway management, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Experience in Emergency Room, neonatal/pediatric care, or Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump management preferred.

- Pay range: $26.08–$48.50/hour (~$54,246–$100,880 annualized).
