About this role

AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Night Shift Training Program in Winter Park, Florida. ### What you'll do - Assess and interpret diagnostic data — including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary notes — relative to patient age and condition. - Implement nursing interventions based on diagnoses tied to patients' actual or potential health conditions. - Develop and execute individualized plans of care with measurable short- and long-range goals. - Prioritize and complete follow-up assessments, modifying care plans as the patient's status evolves. - Perform comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, including screening for signs of abuse or neglect. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification. - EKG competency (required based on this patient population). - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills. - Ability to function as a collaborative team member on an inpatient unit. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr (~$65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health resources, well-being programs, and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Winter Park is a faith-mission health system campus located at 200 N.
