About this role
UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Echocardiography Technologist at its Hinsdale, Illinois hospital campus.
### What you'll do
- Set up, adjust, and operate cardiac imaging equipment; manually maneuver transducers to perform echo exams.
- Perform routine and complex echocardiographic studies in support of physician interpretation.
- Assist physicians during various cardiac imaging procedures.
- Recognize clinically significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
- Implement safety standards and carry out quality control procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency.
### What we're looking for
- Active BLS/CPR certification (required).
- One of the following credentials (required): RDCS or RVS (ARDMS), or RCS or RVT (CCI).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a hospital environment preferred.
- Ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation and on-call coverage.

- Pay range: $31.03–$57.72/hour (~$64,542–$120,058 annualized).
