About this role
A full-time Operating Room RN role at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Glen Oaks, a faith-based health system located in Glendale Heights, Illinois.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized perioperative care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary surgical team to deliver continuous, coordinated intraoperative care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per prescribed protocols in the OR setting.
- Monitor patient progress throughout the surgical episode and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes.
- Maintain safe, proficient operation of OR equipment including IV pumps, NOVA Glucose monitor, and I-STAT devices.
- Document all patient care activities accurately to support complete and current medical records.
### What we're looking for
- Active RN license in Illinois (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical experience (required); 1 year of surgery experience (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- CNOR, PALS, NRP, or ABLS certifications (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated compassion and respect for patients and families undergoing surgical procedures.

- Pay range: $35.19–$62.17/hour ($73,195–$129,314 annualized).
