A full-time night-shift Registered Nurse role at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, a hospital-based position in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, and sociocultural factors and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record.
- Supervise and delegate care to healthcare team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Respond promptly to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- EKG competency per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Fluency in English (read, verbal, and written); basic computer proficiency in Windows-based programs.
