About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a Nurse Manager for its Cardiovascular service line at the Shawnee Medical Building in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. ### What you'll do - Oversee staff performance, manage hiring, orientation, scheduling, and disciplinary processes for the cardiovascular unit - Lead budget management and resource allocation with working knowledge of healthcare finance - Drive performance and quality improvement initiatives, implementing evidence-based practice changes and ensuring compliance with professional standards - Develop and implement policies, procedures, and process improvement projects in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team - Mentor and educate staff, ensuring adherence to clinical practice models and evidence-based care delivery - Serve as the communication hub for patients, families, staff, physicians, and external departments to maintain patient-centered care ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) — preferred - Minimum 2 years of related clinical or leadership experience - Current BLS/CPR certification - Working knowledge of outpatient hospital services and insurance authorization processes - Strong leadership, team-building, and budget management skills ### What's included - Salary range: $78,732 – $146,441 annually - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nationally recognized health system committed to whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
