Paramedic

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is hiring a full-time Paramedic for night/weekend shifts at its hospital campus in Wesley Chapel, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs and initiate cardiac monitoring, reporting dysrhythmias to nursing staff - Insert peripheral IVs, hang IV fluids, maintain prescribed flow rates, and remove lines as directed by an RN - Assist physicians and registered nurses with procedures and patient exams - Transport patients as directed by licensed personnel and provide age- and acuity-appropriate care - Follow CDC isolation protocols, PPE guidelines, and hand-hygiene policies - Document infusion site conditions and maintain accurate patient records ### What we're looking for - Licensed Paramedic (PARA) — Florida license required - Minimum 1 year of ED or pre-hospital paramedic experience - Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications - Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail - Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress, emotionally charged situations - Monitor Tech cross-training is a plus ### What's included - Compensation range: $20.38–$32.60/hr ($42,390–$67,808 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, well-being programs, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
