About this role

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is hiring a full-time Emergency Room Technician II to support direct patient care in the emergency department at its Wesley Chapel, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy, urinary catheter removal, splinting, dressing changes, accuchecks, hemocults, and nasogastric tube discontinuation - Document patient care data — vital signs, intake/output, weights, ADLs, and specimen collection — per hospital policy - Maintain skin integrity through repositioning and communicate signs of breakdown to the nursing team - Transport patients, medical records, and equipment within defined timeframes and assist with positioning, lifting, and ambulation using safety precautions - Support nutritional needs by providing liquids, assisting with meal setup, and feeding patients within identified restrictions - Receive shift-change report from outgoing staff and carry forward care plans using patient-centric, mission-aligned behaviors ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Current CNA, EMT, CPCT/A, CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification required (one of these qualifies) - Alternatively, current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with completion of the first semester of Nursing Fundamentals - BLS/CPR certification required - Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation ### What's included - Compensation: $16.14–$24.83/hr ($33,571–$53,726 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being support, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals and care sites across multiple states.
