Certified Medical Assistant Primary Care+

A Certified Medical Assistant is needed for a primary care clinic at AdventHealth in Winter Garden, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Administer medications, collect labs, initiate testing, and document results in the practice management system - Assist providers with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at time of service - Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet with clear and accurate instructions - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment - Maintain OSHA compliance, confidentiality, and organizational policy standards ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Proficiency with computers and electronic health records - Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hour ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus (where applicable) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and mental health support resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating primary care and specialty clinics across Florida and the broader U.S. This Winter Garden primary care location provides extended weekday and weekend hours to serve the surrounding community. The role requires full availability weekdays 8am–8pm and weekends 8am–5pm on a rotating two-week schedule.
