About this role
A Radiology Technologist role with AdventHealth Medical Group Pulmonology at its Altamonte Springs clinic, with potential float coverage to the Orlando location on East Ridgewood Street.
### What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging exams using established protocols on patients of all ages, adapting techniques as needed.
- Position patients and select technical factors to produce images meeting Radiologist standards in a safe, timely manner.
- Obtain and document patient history, explain procedures, screen for contrast allergies, and minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Monitor patient condition throughout exams, ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy within the technologist's scope of practice.
- Complete documentation for Radiologist support and perform associated clerical duties including scheduling, filing, and patient records.
- Maintain a properly stocked, organized, and clean exam room in accordance with infection control standards.
### What we're looking for
- ARRT registration in Radiography (RT(R)) — required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required.
- Minimum 2 years of radiography experience — required.
- Proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including x-ray systems, scanners, injectors, and monitors.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary clinical staff.
