About this role

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is hiring a part-time Radiology Technologist for night shifts at AdventHealth Glenoaks in Glendale Heights, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Operate and position radiographic equipment to perform requested diagnostic imaging procedures safely. - Provide direct patient care within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition and applying proper infection control techniques. - Transport patients and assist with imaging in surgical and trauma settings. - Maintain clean, stocked, and inspection-ready exam rooms; perform routine equipment safety checks. - Monitor supply inventory and notify appropriate personnel when restocking is needed. - Cross-train into advanced imaging modalities as operationally required. ### What we're looking for - ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) required. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. - Minimum one year of post-certification radiologic technology experience, or recent graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program. - Working knowledge of diagnostic imaging inclusive of surgical and trauma applications. - Proficiency in patient positioning and x-ray equipment operation. - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $23.32 – $43.37 (annualized approximately $48,506 – $90,210 based on hours worked). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective from day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being programs, and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Glenoaks is part of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth, a faith-based health system serving the greater Chicago area with a mission centered on whole-person care.
