RN Registered Nurse ICU Medical Seasonal Days

AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a Seasonal PRN ICU Registered Nurse for day shifts at its Tarpon Springs, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner). - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment data and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Interpret EKG rhythms and apply critical care skills as defined by the ICU unit. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - BLS/CPR certification (required). - Minimum 1 year of experience in a critical care or specialty area (preferred). - Ability to pass a baseline telemetry test within 2 attempts and within 5 business days of contract acceptance. - Proficiency with EHR systems; prior Cerner or EPIC experience preferred. ### What's included - Seasonal rate of $55/hr for all hours worked. - Minimum commitment of 36 hours per week with every-other-weekend availability. - Day shift scheduling. ### About the practice AdventHealth North Pinellas is a full-service community hospital located in Tarpon Springs, Florida, operating as part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the country.
