About this role
AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Celebration, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and established standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care to promote understanding and adherence.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective team communication.
- Interpret EKGs as required by unit-specific patient population and credential grid requirements.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function effectively as a team member within a high-acuity unit environment.
