About this role
A part-time Med-Surg RN role on the day shift at AdventHealth Hendersonville, a faith-based acute care hospital in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and maintaining safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain clear communication.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing interventions to stabilize patients and maintaining accurate, timely medical record documentation.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Proficiency in English (read, verbal, and written) and basic computer navigation.
