A full-time night-shift ICU Registered Nurse role at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Glen Oaks Hospital in Glendale Heights, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify health status, acuity, and care needs in a critical care environment. - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies. ### What we're looking for - Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Critical care skills as defined by unit standards; CCNS, TNCC, CEN, or FCCS certification a plus. - Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills. - Basic computer proficiency with Windows-based programs and electronic health records. ### What's included - Pay range: $33.60–$56.52/hour ($69,888–$117,562 annualized). - Sign-on bonus up to $20,000. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One; 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Glen Oaks is a full-service community hospital located at 701 Winthrop Ave, Glendale Heights, IL, operating as part of the AdventHealth Midwest system in partnership with UChicago Medicine.
