About this role

AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time ICU Registered Nurse for its critical care unit in Zephyrhills, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify health status and care needs on admission and throughout each shift. - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, following patient-safety protocols. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Perform accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record (Cerner/EPIC). - Apply EKG interpretation and critical care clinical skills consistent with unit-defined competencies. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Critical care clinical skills as defined by unit competency standards. - Preferred certifications: FCCS, CCNS, TNCC, Basic EKG Certification, CEN. - Prior experience with Cerner or EPIC electronic medical record systems (preferred). ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off beginning Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources, plus pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Zephyrhills is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit.
