AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time ICU Registered Nurse for its critical care unit in Zephyrhills, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify health status and care needs on admission and throughout each shift.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, following patient-safety protocols.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Perform accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record (Cerner/EPIC).
- Apply EKG interpretation and critical care clinical skills consistent with unit-defined competencies.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Critical care clinical skills as defined by unit competency standards.
- Preferred certifications: FCCS, CCNS, TNCC, Basic EKG Certification, CEN.
- Prior experience with Cerner or EPIC electronic medical record systems (preferred).
