AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift in Daytona Beach, Florida, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans for surgical PCU patients.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure adherence to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the care continuum.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and compliance.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions as required.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking abilities in a fast-paced surgical environment.

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr ($65,582–$108,659 annualized).
