About this role
AdventHealth Palm Parkway Emergency Department is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for day-shift emergency care at its freestanding ED in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and established standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Float as needed across AdventHealth Celebration network EDs, including the main campus and two additional freestanding locations.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required.
- Associate's degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing — preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience — preferred.
- Ability to work 3×12-hour day shifts (7a–7p) with weekend rotation.

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr ($65,582–$108,659 annualized).
- $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates (applicable experience required).

It operates as part of the Magnet-designated AdventHealth Celebration network in Orange and Osceola Counties.
