About this role

AdventHealth Connerton is seeking a full-time Advanced Respiratory Therapist for night shifts at its inpatient facility in Land O Lakes, Florida. ### What you'll do - Deliver respiratory care including aerosolized medication, oxygen therapy, and both invasive and non-invasive ventilator management - Draw, analyze, and report blood gas results; maintain quality control and analyzer upkeep for the blood gas lab - Respond to rapid response and code blue events, performing CPR as required - Assist with bedside bronchoscopy and manage non-invasive Bi-level ventilation and end-tidal CO2 capnography - Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to provide clinical input affecting length of stay and readmission rates - Act as shift lead when assigned: review workload, make staff assignments, precept junior therapists, and ensure task completion ### What we're looking for - State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license and NBRC RRT credential — both required - Minimum 3 years of respiratory care experience - Minimum 1 year of critical care experience - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification - Completion of an accredited technical or vocational respiratory therapy program - Demonstrated ability to perform ECGs and identify cost-control opportunities without compromising patient care quality ### What's included - Pay range: $26.08–$48.50/hr (~$54,246–$100,880 annualized) - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Connerton is an inpatient long-term acute care hospital located in Land O Lakes, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
